The college has hostels for boys and girls separately. These are situated in the campus having a very cool, serene and salubrious atmosphere. Economically weaker students are benefited in the hostel. The wardens look after these hostels.The hostiles will be provided items with chairs, tables, cots, cupboards. Hostel is provided with Purified drinking water facility and for other use hostel is provided with water from the Municipal corporation as well as through bore installed in the campus. Water facility is available through out 24 hours. Hot water facility is meant for each hostelite. Mess is run on contract system. It is arranged such that students can take meals conveniently without affecting the classes during lunch breaks. Breakfast and Tea will also be served in the mess and for this extra amount is to be paid. Only vegetarian food is available in the mess.

• Inmates should be present inside the Hostel before 7.30 p.m. 
• Without the permission of the superintendent of the Hostel, no inmate is allowed to go out of Premises. 
• No electrical appliances are to be used in the Hostel Room. 
• Boarding in the Hostel Mess is not compulsory .Cooking in the rooms is not permitted. 
• Guests are not permitted to say in Hostel Rooms without the prior permission of the Hostel Superintendent. 
• Consuming alcohol, non-vegetarian food & Smoking are strictly prohibited.


NCCOur NCC unit aims at developing qualities of character, courage, discipline, leadership, secular outlook and spirit of adventure. Our NCC wing is looking forward young men and women to join NCC.The college offers National Cadet Corps (NCC) training to the students. Students are advised to enroll themselves for NCC which has been functioning efficiently. Students with NCC Certificate get an extra credit while seeking opportunities for higher education or employment. 


NSSOur NSS unit runs under the guidance of experienced NSS officer and to inculcate activity of selfless social service and to motivate them for social progress are main mottos of NSS.The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the College aims at involving the youth in the service of the community and its development. Young men who offer and spare their time, talent and energy to voluntary social work get a feeling of being useful to community. NSS unit educates one self through service. The NSS unit of SVM Arts, Science and commerce College has a fine record of service for several past years which is remembered all in the villages adopted during the NSS annual camps. The National Service Scheme (NSS) of the College aims at involving the youth in the service of the community. NSS training fulfills the social responsibility of student and make them responsible citizens. It also contributes towards the integral development of the students. Many constructive works like construction of roads, planting trees, creating soaking pits, health-check-up camp, survey of water conservation are carried out.
